The Challenge

Mission Taco needed a refreshed digital presence to match their bold, eclectic in-restaurant experience while improving the usability of their online ordering system.

My Role

Creative Director & UX/UI Lead — responsible for brand alignment, wireframing, interface design, and design oversight through development.

Process

  • Interviewed staff and customers to identify friction points in ordering and menu browsing.

  • Sketched multiple navigation flows and tested low-fidelity prototypes.

  • Iterated UI with emphasis on bold typography, playful imagery, and mobile-first layouts.

The Solution

A colorful, energetic website that mirrors the restaurant vibe, built with mobile ordering front and center.

Impact

  • Online orders increased by 18% within three months of launch.

  • Reduced customer confusion by simplifying navigation and consolidating menus.

  • Strengthened brand presence by aligning digital design with the in-store atmosphere.
